Baby hand & feet lifecast sculpture kits

Why no casting containers?
Belly of Love Baby Lifecast kits do not contain plastic tubs/containers. We choose not to
include them because:
1. They are not absolutely necessary (we try to keep our packaging to a minimum, just think
about all the carbon monoxide emissions from producing those plastic containers, not to
mention all the landfill they take up when you're finished using them). Why not recycle and
use plastic containers you already have around the house?

2. Every individual child's hand and foot is of a different size. Containers to cast the hands
& feet of a newborn will differ to the size of a container for a 10yo child
3. Our casting materials come premeasured in sealed bags, these bags can easily be used
to cast your new baby or child's hand in and it saves you having to rummage around the
recycle bin looking for containers

Paint
Our choice of shimmering water based colours are
metallic Gold, Silver or Copper that dry to a satin finish.
Pearlustre Paint now available

The Gold, Silver & Copper paints are 'Environmental Choice Approved' products.
Regular student acrylic colour paints can be added to the Silver to tint it to the desired
colour you want eg to make metallic blues & pinks
Safety: By the manufacturer's description the paints are 'bland; with vapour, occasional
skin contact and even minor ingestion having negligible hazard'.
